Rihanna won the best performance in Music Award

Awards for world music man Soultrain Awards 2011 were held. Singer Rihanna and Chris Brown took home the trophy by defeating their rivals.

Rihanna won Best Performance Caribbean, from the single "Man Down". However, this Barbados singer had to give up her chance for winning the Best Dance Performance which was won by Beyonce Knowles. While Chris Brown got five nominations, managed to get the Album of the Year award. Album "F.A.M.E." Beyonce get rid of his album "4", Trey Songz "Passion, Pain & Pleasure", Adele "21", Jill Scott "The Light of the Sun", and the album Jay-Z & Kanye West "Watch the Throne".

To Nicki Minaj, these rappers only get one awards for Best Hip-Hop Song beat Kanye "All of the Lights", Jay-Z & Kanye "Otis", and Lupe Fiasco "Out of My Head". Other winners in the celebration of this star, including Miguel (Best New Artist), Cee-Lo Green (Best Male R & B and Soul), Mary Mary (Best Gospel Performance), Kelly Rowland (Song of the Year), and Marsha Ambrosius (Record of the year).

In addition to submitting an award, the event was also a tribute to Heavy D, rapper legend known as the friend of Naughty by Nature, Doug E. Fresh, Kurtis Blow and Goodie Mob. Here is a list of completion:

* Best Dance Performance: Beyonce Knowles - "Run the World (Girls)"
* Best Traditional Jazz Album: Cassandra Wilson
* Best Contemporary Jazz Album: Dave Koz
