maybe for you who often install applications on mobile, you ever experience a 'Certificate expires' which very disturbing you.
there's actually an easy way to overcome the certificate expires, would like to know?
The first needs to know, that every application has a certificate with a certain time frame. Which at that time, the application will be declared eligible for use. And if the period is passed, then an application will be considered expired by our symbian phones.
Usually, the certificate of an aplication is valid at least 3 months after it was made. How to overcome failed to install the application because of expired certificate is actually quite easy, we just change the date on the phone, to the date on which the certificate was still valid.
if we do not know when the certificate was still valid. We do the experiment, by setting the date back on the phone to three months ago, then continues to try to install the application. If you still can't succeed, again backing the date in last three months, continue to try to install the application again.
Please do this way, until the application can be installed correctly.
So we simply change the month and year only. if it later appears notification "Certificate error", it means we have too much postpone setting the date on our cell phones, so we must advance the date setting.
Good luck on installing 'certificate expires' application.
